The Last Jedi’s best reveal and it’s true “Ah hah!” moment, is, of course, when Snoke is unceremoniously killed off about two-thirds of the way through the film. The ensuing fight scene, in which Rey and Kylo Ren team up to duel all of Snoke’s Praetorian guards as the former Supreme Leader’s technicolor throne room burns down around them, is one of the best in the saga’s storied history.
Fleetwood Mac makes it even better, apparently.
We know this now because a Twitter user by the name of @rachlikesbands did the work of making such a mash-up reality by cutting “The Chain,” arguably Fleetwood Mac’s best song, over the build up to the dramatic lightsaber battle.
And unlike Guardians of the Galaxy 2, which also made use of “The Chain” and left out, not once, but twice, the best part of the song — John McVie’s bass riff instrumental break that builds up the tension like crazy and all but screams “SOMETHING COOL AND EPIC IS ABOUT TO GO DOWN SO LISTEN UP” before Lindsey Buckingham goes nuts on the guitar — the video snippet below doesn’t make me want to go insane waiting for the bass to drop and the madness to begin.
