Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a journalism and history student at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, studying to become an honest-to-goodness sports writer. I live here in Amherst with my fiancée, Kendra, and we very much enjoy the wonderful community that is the Pioneer Valley.
At the moment, when not in class, I cover UMass athletics for the school’s newspaper, the The Massachusetts Daily Collegian. There, as a beat writer and assistant sports editor, I’m rapidly honing my news writing and reporting skills and perfecting my craft. I’m also currently working as an intern a the Daily Hampshire Gazette here in Northampton. Afterwards, I plan to strike out into the wild in hopes of landing one of those painfully evasive paying jobs in the sports writing field.
I have grand plans for my career and life, and what you’ll find here on my site is part of the foundation I’ve laid for those plans. I’d love to hear from anyone and everyone who ventures to my site, and I very much hope you enjoy my work! Thanks!
